Martinez Speaks Out About Program for Haitian Orphans

January 21, 2010 -- The Catholic Archdiose of Miami is considering a program to give Haitian children who lost their parents in last week's earthquake a home in the United States. The project would be modeled on the "Pedro Pan" operation that brought more than ten thousand Cuban children to the US during the 1960s. Former US Senator Mel Martinez was one of those children, and he thinks the idea could work again. 90.7s Mark Simpson reports:
